Green in Eastern District | 'Book' Sending Knowledge x Love Sharing, Joy Together (Sports Goods)

Description

From 11 to 14 September, Green in Eastern District will launch the event 'Book' Sending Knowledge x Love Sharing, Joy Together (Sports Goods). During the event, we will be collecting books and sports goods that meet the requirements listed below, which will then be donated to those in need. Please make sure to read through the following guidelines before bringing in your items.

Date: 11/9/2026 (Fri) - 14/9/2026 (Mon)
Time: 10:00am - 5:00pm
Venue: Green in Eastern District Education Zone (Red Door Exhibition Hall) (30 Oi Sin Street, Shau Kei Wan)
Collection Criteria: Items must be at least 80% new, complete and in working condition.

Acceptable Book Categories:
Fiction, essays, cooking, handicraft, gardening, history and geography, culture and philosophy, comics and picture books.

Unsuitable Book Categories:
Travel books (published more than 3 years ago), yearly fortune-telling books, computer books, specialised books, free publications, religious books, textbooks and dictionaries, magazines and periodicals, photo albums, immoral books.

Unsuitable Sports Goods Categories:
Severely damaged, stained, rusty or mouldy items, shoes, clothing and towels, items with hygiene concerns, non-functioning items, items with missing parts, large equipment (over 100cm in length, width or height)
